Senior Quantity Surveyor – Power Commercial Team

Responsibilities
* Manage costs related to infrastructure projects, identifying commercial risks and opportunities
* Deliver varied commercial duties, including procuring and managing the supply chain
* Optimise commercial performance through diligent cost control and value‑for‑money opportunities, while maintaining required standards and quality for our customers
* Create and maintain commercial relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Administer contracts with clients and subcontractors
* Provide support and adherence to the Gated Business Lifecycle process
* Mentor and develop junior team members
* Drive career and personal development, including pursuing professional certification
* Lead commercial management of a large infrastructure project or a portfolio of smaller projects
Qualifications & Experience
* BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent experience)
* Membership of RICS, ICES or CIOB (or working towards)
* Experience with key contracts such as NEC
* Good communication skills
* Strong teamwork and leadership skills
* Achievement‑focused, with a drive to achieve results
* Business and customer‑awareness, recognising opportunities and threats
* Experience applying NEC3 & NEC4 contracts
