Based in Birmingham, this client is a well-established Tier 1 contractor with a strong reputation for consistent profitability. The business is debt-free and has an impressive pipeline of secured work.\n\nThey operate across a broad range of sectors including Education, Healthcare, Leisure and Defence, typically delivering projects in the £10m–£100m range.\n\nYou will be working on a £15m school project in Birmingham. As Quantity Surveyor, you will be commercially and contractually responsible for the project, reporting into a visiting Managing Surveyor.
An Assistant Surveyor will report directly to you.\n\nKey Duties and Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Preparation and review of Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) and monthly reports\n\n * \n\n Managing variations and ensuring contractual compliance\n\n * \n\n Issuing and reviewing payment notices, interim valuations, and final accounts\n\n * \n\n Measurement and quantification of works in line with contract requirements\n\n * \n\n Liaising and managing relationships with clients, subcontractors, and consultants\n\n * \n\n Supporting project planning and forecasting, including risk and cost management\n\n * \n\n Ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting throughout the project lifecycle\n\nIf you wish to hear more, please get in touch
