Job Description
As part of a team of Internal Account Managers reporting to the Operations Director, you will be working to support and manage customers alongside the External Business Development Manager on their specific area.
You will be working together to grow the customers base in your allocated area, increasing profits, promoting brand awareness and ensuring that our existing customers’ needs are serviced to an exemplary standard.
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
1. Develop new and innovative ways of selling the company's products.
2. Build strong relationships to retain & increase sales
3. Work very closely with the External BDM
4. Pro-actively call customers daily to generate inquiries, prepare quotations and convert to orders
5. To develop business from existing customers by the introduction of new and attractive products
6. To make suggestions on new products to include in the range, based on customer’s requirements and feedback
7. To ensure all sales opportunities are maximized
8. Anticipate potential opportunities by researching the relevant markets, competitors, locating potential events and marketing opportunities.
9. Report & feedback on successes
10. Monitor spend/sales
11. Sell current special offers
12. Enter orders onto the system that are won
