The role
As a Senior Designer, you are a champion of creative craft and executional precision within our Design pillar. Reporting to the Head of Design, you will lead by example, creating world‑class design solutions that precisely capture strategic intent while embracing the Intelligence Revolution. You bridge the gap between initial concept and performance‑ready assets, utilising The Aire Way™ to provide intelligent solutions that eliminate "late and wrong".
By guiding Midweight and Junior Designers and driving creative excellence, you ensure that every project delivers the clarity, consistency, and confidence required to unleash brand performance on the global stage.
Your day‑to‑day will involve:
* Delivering expert‑level design work across packaging, point of sale (POS), and the digital shelf, ensuring absolute brand alignment and strategic reasoning
* Leading creative projects from initial concept to technical handover, ensuring all outputs are optimised for downstream production
* Championing the Intelligence Revolution by actively adopting AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance craft and workflow efficiency
* Guiding and developing midweight and junior designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and working smart
* Partnering with the Design Lead and Head of Design to ensure that all creative work meets our unrivalled standards of clarity and consistency
* Acting as a creative bridge between technical, adaptive, and print partners to ensure design integrity is maintained throughout the production process
* Overseeing the quality control of design outputs, ensuring 100% technical accuracy and adherence to client brand guidelines
* Exploring and implementing better ways of working, identifying opportunities for automation within the design workflow
* Coordinating with our Client Delight team to ensure design solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations
* Maintaining a deep understanding of category conventions, shopper insights, and market trends to ensure design work is commercially effective

To be an ideal candidate, you will need:
* Experience delivering commercial design work across packaging, POS, or the digital shelf in an agency or studio environment
* Proven experience leading creative projects and successfully guiding a team of designers through constructive feedback
* Strong and proactive communication skills with the ability to articulate the strategic reasoning behind your design choices
* An exceptional level of organisation with the ability to guide projects from concept to final execution
* A quality‑focused mindset with an uncompromising eye for detail and executional precision
* Demonstrated ability to work with technical, adaptive, and print partners to optimise artwork for production
* Deep knowledge of colour management, technical constraints, print production considerations, and adaptive workflows for downstream execution
* A strong commitment to staying current with AI, automation, and intelligent workflow systems
* A degree or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related discipline is preferred, backed by a portfolio showcasing expert‑level craft and strategic thinking
