You will be responsible for performing an array of duties to ensure the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of goods within the warehouse. Overview: Due to ongoing growth at The Toolshed we are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our team. The Warehouse Operative key responsibilities include receiving and processing shipments. Inspect incoming deliveries to ensure accuracy, check for damage, and confirm compliance with company standards. Sort, label, and store items in designated locations following inventory management protocols. Duties & Responsibilities: Ensure that all goods are loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork Store and rotate stock according to established procedures Report any damaged or missing goods to Management Keep the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintain equipment Follow workplace health and safety rules Ensure efficient operations adhering to operational procedures Assist with warehouse inventory controls Treat merchandise with care and concern always. The Person: Good interpersonal skills Good organisational and time management skills Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods Ability to lift heavy objects Capacity to work under pressure to meet deadlines Capacity to show initiative Desired: Experience working in warehouse environment (preferred) Current forklift licence (preferred) A good knowledge of Tools and equipment.
