Working independently and with team members to design and develop manufacturing new products, in conjunction with internal and external customers, creating and maintaining component and product specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting internal colleagues with design and development of new (and existing) products.
* Taking concept (s) through to full production and on-going product life support
* Creating and maintaining all relevant specifications, part numbers and bills of materials, providing all information to relevant departments/ stakeholders.
* Producing accurate and robust costings and quotes within tight time scales
* Providing timely support and direction to internal production personnel and departments.
* Liaising effectively with internal and external customers
* Off site visits to suppliers and customers
* Utilising the functionality of the E10 system
Qualifications/Courses/Experience:
* HND Level
* Previous hands on experience ideally gained in an industrial environment
* Practical examples of application in similar environments e.g. Sheet metal industrial environment
* Previous CAD experience ideally 3DComputer literate and conversant with ERP systems
* Driving Licence

* Able to work under own initiative and on occasion under pressure whilst adhering to strict deadlines
* Strong problem solving skills
* Proven IT skills
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary – £35k to £40K per annum
