We are recruiting 1 qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) or Child Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) for our Richmond Mental Health Support Team.

About the role
The post involves working within a service promoting a whole school approach to mental health and wellbeing, focusing on preventative work and early interventions for children and young people with mild to moderate anxiety, depression, or behavioral difficulties. The role requires working with diverse backgrounds, utilizing interpreters as needed, and being committed to equal opportunities. The team provides access to supervision, peer support, and CPD opportunities.

About you
Ideal candidates will have:
* Completion of the HEE-commissioned 1-year EMHP or CWP course
* Experience working with children with social, emotional, or behavioral difficulties
* Experience delivering therapeutic interventions, such as guided self-help or time-limited therapy
* Knowledge of assessment tools and evaluating outcomes
* Skills in mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions
* Ability to conduct group parenting programs and work within educational settings to increase mental health awareness
* Risk assessment skills and good IT skills, including database use
