We are looking for a Commis Chef to join our team. This is a full-time role and will be reporting into the Executive and Head Chef. We are looking for someone who has a strong background in a culinary environment as a Commis Chef within a luxury setting.
Location: The Chesterfield Mayfair, London
Employment Type: Full-time
Working Pattern: Shift work (5 days on, 2 days
off)
Salary: £25,397 + service charge

Key
Responsibilities of a Commis Chef:
* Assisting in the preparation and production of menus
* Preparing all dishes to the required standard and specification
* Maintaining high health and safety standards
* Being responsible for securing the kitchen when on late duty
* Ensuring that sections are kept clean, safe and hygienic at all times
What are we looking for?
* A minimum of 2 years’ experience
as a Commis Chef in a professional kitchen.
* A genuine passion for cooking and
a keen interest in culinary development.
* Strong understanding of food
hygiene and safety standards.
* A flexible, proactive attitude
with excellent teamwork skills.
* A desire to learn and progress
within a luxury hospitality setting.
