Are you looking for a varied role supporting multiple projects across the Borough?
Do you have strong written and verbal communication skills alongside project management experience?
We're looking for a proactive and organised Project Officer to join our Corporate Projects team, helping to deliver a range of exciting projects that make a real difference to our communities.
In this role, you'll lead on smaller projects (up to £250k) and support larger capital projects across the Borough, working closely with colleagues, stakeholders, contractors and the wider community to bring ideas to life.
You'll be confident working across the full project lifecycle – from developing business cases and project plans through to monitoring progress, managing risks, and supporting delivery on the ground. You'll also play a key role in stakeholder engagement, consultation activity, and keeping projects on track both financially and operationally.
What we're looking for:
* Experience working in a project environment, including managing smaller projects and project documentation
* Strong communication skills with the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders
* Experience of tracking project budgets and working with contractors or consultants
* A proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your project management career within a supportive and collaborative team, contributing to meaningful projects that enhance our Borough.
