The Role
As a Business Development Manager in our Adult Education Department (AEB) team, your focus will be to be grow the business through effective selling techniques. As the first point of contact for stakeholders, employers and community partners, you will provide the support they need to enhance their participants, communities and workforce through training.
Whilst we can't promise that every day will be the same, your key responsibilities are likely to be:
- Strategically sourcing a pipeline of learners across the areas in the contract, so access to a car is essential.
- Developing and nurturing relationships with referral partners.
- Meeting your targets to support growth.
- Developing and maintaining a strategic sales plan.
- Working with other teams such as marketing and operations.

About You- Experience of successful sales calls and face to face meetings
- B2B sales experience with a proven track record of delivering consistent results
- Experience within further education
- Highly motivated to build a client base
- Positive can-do attitude and a positive mindset to achieving targets
- Ability to build external relationships with potential new clients from the onset
- Matrix working internally with various departments, working as one team to support growth
- Must have full UK driving licence and own mode of transport
