An exciting opportunity has become available within the Breast Unit at The Countess of Chester Hospital.
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, motivated team player who is seeking a new challenge. The post holder will be a key worker for a patient caseload, providing support through diagnosis and treatment, coordinating care, and working independently as part of the Breast team. This is a 12-month position to cover maternity leave.
The post involves undertaking nurse-led clinics, telephone advice, and results clinics. The post holder will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate evidence-based nursing care programs. They will provide specialist advice, support, and clinical practice for patients, relatives, and healthcare professionals.
Collaboration with clinical colleagues to develop services and uphold high standards of care is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate good communication and organizational skills, be caring, motivated, and proactive in developing their role to meet service needs.

The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust provides services to West Cheshire and Welsh patients covered by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. The Trust collaborates within the Cheshire and Merseyside Health and Care Partnership. Services are provided from three locations:
1. The Countess of Chester Hospital: 438 general and acute beds
2. Ellesmere Port Hospital: 56 beds for rehabilitation, intermediate, and outpatient services
3. Tarporley War Memorial Hospital: community services serving the local rural population
The Trust employs over 5,916 staff and provides a range of services including emergency, elective, primary care, and obstetric services to a population of approximately 411,000, including residents of Chester, West Cheshire, Ellesmere Port, Neston, and parts of Flintshire.
