Are you in your final year of your BEd course and looking to gain extra classroom experience before qualifying?
Teaching Personnel offers flexible work across local primary schools, helping you build confidence and develop the skills needed for your ECT year.
This is a great opportunity to step into real classrooms and take on roles such as Teacher, Teaching Assistant (TA) or Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), depending on your experience. You’ll gain valuable hands‑on experience delivering lessons, supporting learning and working closely with school staff—ideal preparation for becoming a qualified teacher.
Job Description
Role Options:
Teacher: Deliver pre‑planned lessons, manage the classroom, support pupil progress and maintain a positive learning environment.
Teaching Assistant: Support the class teacher, work with small groups or individual pupils, assist with classroom activities and help create an inclusive learning space.
HLTA: Lead small groups, cover classes when required, support planning and contribute to wider school life.

Requirements
Final‑year BEd student on track to obtain QTS this summer
A DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to complete a new one
Enthusiastic, reliable and proactive
Passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
Confident working independently or as part of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
