Job Title: Public Relations Manager\n\nLocation: Cardiff\n\nHours: 39 hours per week\n\nShift Patterns: Monday- Thursday 8.30am -5.00pm | Friday 8.30am - 4.00pm\n\nSalary: £34,000.00 per annum\n\nBenefits: 30 days holiday | 20% Discounts Across the Group | Pension\n\nOur client are seeking a Campaign and PR Managerto join their Marketing Team. This role is responsible for proactive and reactive PR activity with the aim of building a positive brand image and driving awareness with new audiences. This position would suit someone who has a strong background in developing and implementing PR and Campaign strategies, organising events, and handling any potential crises.
The role requires strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.\n\nJob responsibilities\n\nDeveloping and implementing the PR and Campaign Strategy to achieve organisational goals\nWorking collaboratively with external agencies including PR and Creative\nWriting and editing press releases, e-mails, articles, and other promotional materials\nOrganizing and managing events such as launch parties, product launches, and public appearances\nDeveloping and implementing crisis communication strategies to manage and mitigate negative publicity\nMonitoring media coverage, Social comments, analysing public perception, and identifying potential reputational risks\nDeveloping and managing the PR budget, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effectiveness\nTracking and analysing PR campaign performance, measuring results, and reporting on key metrics\nGenerating engaging brand content to drive reputation, expertise and awareness\nMain point of contact for Charity partners, driving engaging activity and content to drive awareness and coverage for brand.\nKeeping track of competitor marketing and PR activity to identify opportunities and stay ahead of emerging trends\nWorking with Celebrity Ambassadors to maximise awareness, content and positive association\nSupporting site openings with effective PR and Marketing launch programme\nSetting measurable goals for campaigns, measuring and showing the Return on Investment (ROI)\nWorking collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including: Buying, E-Commerce, Visual Merchandising & Creative, to establish cohesive and successful campaigns\nThe ideal candidate will have:\n\nPR or Marketing Qualification: A degree (or equivalent) in PR, Marketing or a related field\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to write engaging copy, respond to inquiries, and effectively communicate with stakeholders.\nCreativity: Generating fresh and innovative campaigns to capture audience attention.\nAnalytical and problem solving skills: Ability to analyse campaign data, identify issues and develop solutions.\nMultitasking: Managing multiple campaigns and tasks simultaneously and under pressure.\nProficiency in media relations and crisis communication: Press office and Crisis Management experience\nAbility to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment\nProject management skills: Proficiency in planning, managing, and successfully launching campaigns on time and within budget\nCampaign Execution: Managing the end-to-end process of campaigns, from briefing agencies and freelancers to overseeing content creation and distribution\nStakeholder Management: Collaborating with internal teams (e.g., sales, product development) and external agencies to ensure alignment and seamless execution\nIf you feel these qualities describe you, then we would like to hear from you.\n\nPlease submit your career details to Andrew Bridges at PDA SEARCH & SELECTION LIMITED
