IT Support Technician
Location: South Wales (Office-based - Crickhowell)
Salary: Dependent on experience
An established and expanding online education provider is seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to join its growing IT team in South Wales. This is a broad and varied role within a hands-on environment, supporting a large remote workforce and student community.
The Role
You will provide remote IT support to over 400 employees and 8,000 students, while contributing to a range of IT operational tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with prior IT support experience who is looking to broaden their exposure within a dynamic and fast-growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Log, prioritise and resolve IT support requests effectively
Provide remote support to staff and students
Administer and maintain IT assets
Set up and maintain IT hardware
Support and troubleshoot software including Microsoft 365 and Adobe Connect
Escalate issues to internal teams or third-party providers as required
Maintain accurate records and documentation
About You
Previous experience in an IT support role (essential)
Strong working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365
Methodical and logical problem-solving skills
Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
Calm and empathetic approach to user support
Ability to manage expectations and build professional relationships
Team player who contributes ideas and shares knowledge
