Role Purpose
The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and disseminating information concerning flight activity. This individual will also establish and maintain rapport with flight crews, pilots, passengers, ground handlers and customers.
What you will be doing
1. Distribute incoming air traffic information to pilots/ground handlers
2. Follow up with updated information as received
3. Communicate flight release and fuel load information to appropriate operations
4. Maintain lines of communication with line operations and air carriers though the use of two-way radios
5. Coordinate with departments in billing for services rendered and compile information for each flight and submit for final bill preparation
6. Maintain flight logs and update flight schedules
7. Make arrangements for accommodation when flight delays occur
8. Handle phone traffic
9. Assist in the planning and control of the gate assignment
10. Assist with passenger services as required
11. Recommend weight and balance preparation in accordance with airline requirements
12. Comply with the Stations’ attendance and tardiness standards
13. Perform other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for:
14. Possess valid US driver's license with a clean driving record
15. 1+ years of experience as a dispatcher
16. Must be 18 years of age or older
17. Pass pre-employment drug screen and all pre-employment testing
18. Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English
19. Must be comfortable lifting 70lbs repetitively
20. Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions
21. Pass FBI background and obtain US Customs Seal
22. Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
23. Must have high school diploma, GED or six months’ experience as an Operations Agent
24. Excellent communication skills required
25. Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure
26. Competent in handling difficult situations
