Paid community volunteering daysDuties as a Vehicle Technician:
Perform high-quality vehicle maintenance and repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards
Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to diagnose damage or wear
Provide expert technical advice and communicate effectively with customers
Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations and quality standards
Collaborate with the service reception and workshop control teams to ensure efficient workflow
Support fellow Vehicle Technicians by sharing technical knowledge and assisting where needed
Maintain accurate records of work carried out and parts used
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
Ensure vehicles are returned to customers in a safe and roadworthy conditionRequirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent qualification
Strong understanding of vehicle safety standards and repair procedures
Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet targets
Valid UK driving licence is essential; a current MOT licence is advantageous
Previous experience working with recognised automotive brands is desirable but not mandatory
