Position Overview
Chief Operating Officer (COO) oversees day‑to‑day administrative and operational functions. Reports directly to the CEO to ensure efficient strategy execution, scalability, and a high‑performance culture across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
* Operational Leadership & Management
o Oversee daily operations across Operations, HR, IT, and other core business functions.
o Design, implement, and continuously monitor standardized procedures and workflows to maximize efficiency and productivity.
o Identify, evaluate, and mitigate operational risks to ensure compliance and business continuity.
* Strategic Planning & Execution
o Translate the CEO's long‑term vision into clear, actionable operational plans and departmental targets.
o Establish, track, and analyze KPIs, reporting insights to the CEO and recommending corrective actions.
o Lead initiatives that build infrastructure, technology, and organizational structure to support sustainable growth.
* Financial & Resource Stewardship
o Collaborate with the CFO to manage the operating budget, control expenses, and identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency.
o Allocate personnel, technology, and capital effectively to ensure all strategic projects are fully supported.
* Talent & Culture Development
o Mentor and guide senior leaders, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous professional development.
o Act as a champion for core values, ensuring the internal culture supports high performance, engagement, and retention.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Minimum of 4+ years of progressive leadership experience.
* Proven track record in scaling operations, driving organizational efficiency, and managing complex cross‑departmental functions.
* Demonstrated ability to mentor senior management and lead large teams.
* Expert knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma, and strategic planning frameworks.
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
* Relevant certifications in Executive Leadership, Strategic Management or Process Improvement (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Black Belt) are highly beneficial.
