The role You will be working in Sous Chef/ Assistant KM manager capacity, supporting the kitchen team in delivering high-quality gastro pub food to a consistently high standard.
Responsibilities include:
Running kitchen sections confidently and independently
Supporting the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations
Supervising junior chefs and kitchen staff
Maintaining excellent food quality, consistency, and presentation
Working efficiently during busy service periods
Supporting stock control, ordering, prep, and service management
Ensuring full compliance with food hygiene and health & safety standards
What were looking for Minimum 2 years experience as a Senior CDP or Sous Chef in the UK
Previous gastro pub or fresh-food restaurant experience essential
Strong leadership and section management skills
Ability to perform well in a fast-paced service environment
Reliable, professional, and committed to ongoing work
Looking for a long-term opportunity
Certifications required Level 2 Food Safety Certificate
Allergen Certificate
Health & Safety Level 2
COSHH Certificate
