Zenith People are working with a well-established client seeking a full-time Plant Fitter with hands-on experience in heavy-duty machinery including steamers, rollers, tractors and fork lift trucks. A background in yellow goods or aircraft maintenance is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assemble and service proprietary mechanical equipment built in-house.
* Diagnose faults and liaise directly with customers during breakdowns to ensure timely resolution.
* Maintain and repair existing machinery and systems supplied by the company.
* Collaborate within a small, detail-oriented team, ensuring clear communication and thorough follow-up on technical issues.
* While primarily site-based, the role includes occasional travel across the UK, with overnight stays as required—typically monthly but subject to change.
* Basic computer skills are essential for diagnostics and reporting.
