RSM is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Early Careers Programme Coordinator to join our Early Careers Talent Acquisition team. Working closely with the wider Early Careers programmes team, you will be responsible for delivering RSM’s work experience, internship and placement programmes, which form an integral part of our attraction and pipeline strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in engaging our future talent through work experience to support RSM’s early careers hiring needs.
This role can be based in one of the following RSM offices (subject to location of existing team members and business needs):
* Birmingham
* Glasgow
* Edinburgh
* Manchester
* Preston
You will be required to travel to other national RSM offices and attend external events (including evening events) throughout the year.
Responsibilities
* Lead on work experience and internship administration relating to attraction, job adverts, recruitment processes, onboarding, programme delivery and off‑boarding.
* Act as an RSM brand ambassador to deliver an exceptional internship and work shadowing offering nationally.
* Coordinate logistics for the work shadowing and internship programmes at RSM, acting as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders.
* Act as the main point of contact for candidates applying to and joining our work experience and internship programmes, managing their queries before, during and after programmes, including managing a central inbox.
* Ensure cohorts have an allocation of line managers, buddies and mentors (if required).
* Maintain consistent recruitment processes for the programmes using recruitment technology, efficiently managing candidate pipelines and updating forecasts.
* Maintain a focus on diversity and inclusion and support initiatives to attract a diverse talent pool, including RSM’s commitment to Access Accountancy.
* Collaborate with our internal brand and communications team to secure marketing materials that attract candidates to our work experience programmes.
* Work as part of our national Early Careers Talent Acquisition team to ensure a joined‑up approach, supporting attraction events and assessment activities as required.
What we are looking for
* Early Careers Talent Acquisition experience, ideally high‑volume hiring.
* Experience working within a professional services or partnership environment (desirable).
* Outstanding attention to detail, strong organisational and time‑management skills, and ability to work independently.
* Adept communicator with the ability to engage and present to diverse audiences – confident speaking to groups in‑person and virtually.
* Good data‑management and reporting skills.
* Strong relationship‑building skills to manage stakeholder expectations and influence.
* A professional, proactive individual who can work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
* Good knowledge of all Microsoft packages and ATS platforms.
* Willingness to travel nationally and attend evening events.
