We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks. The Delivery Driver will operate a box truck, manage loading and unloading of products, and navigate designated routes efficiently.
Duties
* Safely operate a box truck for deliveries to designated locations
* Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
* Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely deliveries
* Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients
* Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
* Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
* Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management
* Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for loading/unloading tasks
Skills
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
* Previous warehouse experience is a plus
* Experience in commercial driving preferred
* Proficient in operating box trucks and other delivery vehicles
* Familiarity with delivery driver responsibilities and best practices
* Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required
* Experience with forklifts and pallet jacks is advantageous
* Comfortable driving manual transmission vehicles when necessary
* Knowledge of route driving techniques to ensure efficient navigation
* Experience as a courier is beneficial
