What you will do
As an M365 Support Manager, you will implement A&O Shearman's strategy, architecture, standards and roadmaps across the following areas:
1. Administration and support of M365 applications in use at AOS – Office 365 (Word/PowerPoint/Excel/OneNote); MS Teams; OneDrive; SharePoint Online; AvePoint (M365 backup)
2. Legal Document tools – Adobe Acrobat suite; Litera Tools; Template Tools example: Templafy
3. All office add-ins, excluding iManage
4. Deployment of Web Addins from M365 Admin as well as Office Monthly Patching
5. Ownership and leadership of day to day execution in the following areas:
Providing a single point of technical leadership on projects (including SIPs and SEs) for technical delivery, leading the technical decision making.
Ensuring that services are effectively delivered, understood and supported so that they fulfil business needs.
The role holder will be seen as a clear leader for all technical matters relating to their specialist areas
The remit of this role is global and extends to all aspects of the product set, independent of location.
This role is seen as a ‘hands on’ role, with team management duties.
Support the firm’s environmental goals and initiatives.
What you will have
6. IT experience in a 3rd line role leading 3rd line support teams and supporting a number of the technologies listed above
7. Proven track record in providing technical leadership and delivering enterprise wide solutions.
8. Experience working within the professional services sector with an appreciation of the demands placed on support teams by the business
9. Excellent all-round technology knowledge and practical experience of the majority of technologies within this discipline.
10. Detailed practical knowledge of the operation and maintenance of IT infrastructure and services within a Microsoft technology environment.
11. Solid understanding of technologies and core applications.
12. Knowledge of IT market and trends.
13. Accreditation in relevant technologies is preferred.
