CPL's Health division are currently recruiting a Paediatric Occupational Therapist (Band 6/7). This role is based in a school in Hampshire. Full and part-time considered. Sponsorship offered if required.
About the client
My client is a multi-professional therapy practice, providing specialist Therapy Services to children 0-18 years. Children present with a variety of diagnoses, including Sensory Processing Difficulties, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Dyspraxia, Cerebral Palsy, Dyslexia, Speech and Language delay/disorders, attachment and trauma difficulties, global developmental delay or neurological disorders.
Approach
* Identify: Following a comprehensive assessment package, identify the areas of strength and challenge for the child.
* Educate: Share knowledge and educate everyone working with the child to ensure their unique needs are fully understood and supported.
* Accelerate: Within each therapeutic treatment package, a designated therapist will work with school, family and the child to provide personal therapy, individualised goals and specific activity programmes to ensure therapy addresses their unique needs and supports them to reach their full potential at an appropriate pace and intensity.
Role responsibilities
This post will involve direct work with children and young people with Autism and other complex needs, as listed above. The purpose of the role is to support Therapists, including Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language Therapists, in the provision and further development of high quality therapeutic work. The post holder will implement a range of therapy interventions under the guidance of the relevant Therapist and will produce therapy resources.

Salary
Salary £38 500 - £47 000 pro rata (term-time only).
