As a Deputy Home Manager, you’ll be ensuring that the level of clinical care we offer goes beyond just professional standards and statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements. This means providing specialist nursing support and advice, taking responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager’s absence, and supervising/co‑aching colleagues to provide a service that’s unparalleled in its empathy for resident issues.
Main duties of the job
HC‑One is looking for a Deputy Home Manager with a valid NMC PIN, knowledge of National Standards, and the NMC code of practice. You should have a background in person‑centred care planning within a care home, be a great mentor, manage time effectively, keep meaningful records, and be considerate and kind when communicating with residents or co‑workers. Your positive energy and ability to get along with people are essential.

Person Specification
* Qualifications: Valid NMC PIN.
* Experience: Experience in a care home with person‑centred care planning.
* Additional criteria: Positive mentor and leadership skills, effective time‑management and record‑keeping, aptitude for safeguarding and compassion for residents.
