Senior Records Clerk (Band 3) – 6-Month Fixed Term

About the Role
* Supervise and support junior records staff
* Ensure accurate and timely filing, retrieval, and tracking of patient records
* Maintain compliance with data protection and confidentiality standards
* Act as a key point of contact for queries and day-to-day issues
* Support the transition to electronic records where applicable
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in a health records or administrative role
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Confidence in using IT systems and handling confidential information
* A proactive and supportive approach to team supervision
Why This Role Matters
This full-time post is essential to ensure consistent service delivery and supervisory support throughout the week. Without this role, staff would be left without a key point of contact, impacting efficiency, morale, and compliance.
