Seeking a Qualifying Supervisor, to provide support to our engineering community to ensure the results of inspection and testing are recorded correctly on the appropriate certificates and compliant with British NICEIC standards.
The company is a trusted compliance safety company carrying out tests / services to make sure customers properties are safe and meet current legislations. currently maintain, service and repair over 70000 housing association and local authority properties across the UK.
Key responsibilities:
* To play a key role in the increase in the quality and the professionalism of the services provided to our clients by way of implementing and maintaining the systems required so that we achieve the very highest standards in both the technical and administrative aspects of the Electrical Division.
* To ensure that the company’s systems and “day to day” working practices comply with legislative, regulatory and accreditation bodies high standards.
* To ensure the on-going accuracy and usability of the Electrical department test equipment.
* Alongside the Head of Electrical assisting with technical queries from employees and clients that cannot be handled by other technical management members of staff for various reasons.
* Delivering post audit inspections and certifications on completed works to ensure they are within the required industry standard.
* To review monitoring and technical inspections of field-based Engineers performed by other technical management members of staff.
Key Skills and Attributes:
* NICEIC compliance knowledge and accreditation.
* Solid industry experience
* Minimum Level 3 electrical qualification and 18th Edition
* IET Wiring Regulations BS 7671
* An extensive understanding of the Electricity at Work Regulations and Codes of Practice and guidance documents relevant to the range of electrical work undertaken
