CNC Programmer and Loader We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fanuc Programmer and Loader for our client in Worksop. The successful candidate will be responsible for writing, editing, and loading CNC programs for Fanuc-controlled machines, setting up equipment, and ensuring the efficient operation of CNC processes. This role plays a key part in maintaining production schedules and ensuring parts meet strict quality standards. CNC Programmer and Loader Benefits: Location: Worksop Contract: Permanent Salary: Days £16 per hours & Afters £16 per hour weekly shift allowance £160 Shifts - Days 6am to 2pm & Afters 2pm to 10pm Hours - 40 per week plus overtime CNC Programmer and Loader Key Responsibilities: Operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications using Fanuc controls Set up, load and verify CNC programs using DNC or manual methods. Adjust machine settings and tool offsets to maintain part quality and efficiency. Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during production Maintain a clean and organise the work area Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and mills, as needed. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Perform machine and tool maintenance tasks such as tool changes, calibration, and troubleshooting. Inspect parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM. Document work performed, including machine setups and quality checks. Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve production issues. Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a clean, safe work environment.CNC Programmer and Loader Criteria: 5 years of experience programming and loading Fanuc-controlled CNC machines. Strong knowledge of G-code and CNC programming principles. Able to read from drawings Familiarity with machine setup, tooling, and fixtures. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing blueprints. Strong attention to detail and quality. Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination required. Strong spatial reasoning
