Brain Injury Support Worker, East Sussex, TN21. Part time and full-time opportunities available for an experienced Brain Injury Support Worker or Rehabilitation Assistant to support a gentleman based in Heathfield, TN21. Up to £19.00 Gross per Hour.
Role details
Nearest Tube/Station: Not applicable. A driver with their own car is essential to travel to and from the client’s home.
Wage/Salary: £17.00 Weekdays | £19.00 Weekends | £21.00 Bank Holidays. Gross per Hour.
Driver Essential: Yes, WAV (automatic drive) for use on duty.
Essential experience: Brain Injury or neurological (stroke or spinal injury) experience, manual handling, and experience supporting a client in the community. This role is open to female applicants only.
Start Date: Negotiable.
Days & Hours: Full-time, Part-time, and Bank Shifts available from Monday to Sunday. Day shifts (7.45am–8pm) and sleep-in night shifts (7.45pm–8am) are available.
Family/Client Pets: Cat and dog.

About our client: Jack, 52, a long-standing client of Snap Care, is supported by his case management team. He is a devoted husband and father, a wheelchair user with Traumatic Brain Injury and complex orthopedic injuries. He has diabetes and requires support with transfers, memory-related tasks, and rehabilitation as per detailed care plans.
Note: Jack communicates verbally and is dedicated to rehabilitation; team members follow detailed care, rehabilitation, and medical plans.
Overview of role
The team provides 2:1 support most days, and 1:1 care at night. Jack’s wife plans his weekly routine, which is shared with the team. You will support him at home and in the community, assist in his role as husband and father, support his rehabilitation, and enable him to live life as he wishes. We are recruiting professionals to join a dedicated 24-hour care team from Monday to Sunday. The aim is to build a flexible, high-quality care team; shifts can be set around availability.
Who this job would suit
Due to location, you must be a driver with your own car (limited public transport). You should be enthusiastic, positive, intuitive, able to step in or step back as needed, and comfortable with high-energy, motivational support. Shared interests such as gardening or fitness are desirable, but not required.
