Job description:
Central food service LTD are an established and growing business in the food distribution sector supplying over 800 customers within a 100 mile radius from our Stoke On Trent depot.
As we continue to grow, we are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Sales Order Processor to join our team and play an important role in ensuring smooth and efficient order processing.
Key Responsibilities:
· Accurately take and process customer orders via telephone, email, or WhatsApp.
· Provide excellent customer service, ensuring queries are handled quickly and professionally.
· Check product availability and communicate lead times or alternatives where necessary.
· Liaise with warehouse and delivery teams to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly and on time.
· Maintain accurate records of orders and customer details.
· Market research and up-selling products based on the findings of your research.
· Support the team with general administration when required.
Skills & Experience:
· Previous experience in a customer service, sales support, or order processing role (preferred but not essential).
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
· Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
· Confident IT skills.
Core hours -
Sunday 2:00pm - 6:00pm,
Monday - Thursday 9:30am - 6:00pm,
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week
