Overtime available Day to Day Duties The role is mainly packing and some picking using a hand scanner It is light work with no heavy lifting involved You will be required to stand up during working hours Packing products at stations Printing labels ready for dispatch Picking from the MEZZ area, using a hand scanner Some warehouse work may be required which can include loading and unloading Use of printing machines Sortation of small items This role may require some handling of packaged products containing alcohol Essential Skills A can-do attitude and the willingness to learn is needed for this role Basic understanding of English – verbal and written Great timekeeping and attendance, our client is in their busiest period and needs all hands-on deck! Must have at least six months experience working in a warehouse, ideally picking orders for customer dispatch Must pass a basic English and numeracy test Must be able to prove your right to work in the UK Must have your own transport or live local or within reasonable travelling distance to the site Training You will be trained on the job On your first day you are given a site tour and training Once completed, you will shadow a current worker until you are ready to get stuck in!
