Planner / Senior Planner – Greater Exeter Location: Greater Exeter / Full-time / Salary: £30k - £35k DOE Key Responsibilities Assess potential development sites, reviewing planning policy, site constraints, and opportunities. Prepare planning appraisals, strategies, Local Plan representations, applications, and condition discharge submissions. Coordinate consultant teams and review technical reports, surveys, and assessments. Attend site visits, public consultations, and Local Plan examinations to represent and promote project proposals. Support the progression of schemes through the planning process, ensuring effective coordination, timely delivery, and strong project management. About You MRTPI qualified or nearing submission. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork. Self-motivated, well-organised, and able to manage time effectively to meet deadlines. High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work. Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using IT systems.
