Job Opportunity: Internal Sales Advisor (B2B)
Location: Cumbernauld - Office Based
Contract: 1 x Perm and 1 x 12 Month Mat Leave
Salary: £26650 (plus potential of up to 20% bonus)
Working Hours
Week 1 - Mon- Fri 8am - 5pm
Week 2 - Mon - Thurs 8am - 4.30pm, Fri - 8am - 2.30pm
About the Role
JDR Recruitment are looking for a confident Internal Sales Advisor with a B2B background, to join our client's growing internal sales team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, supporting customers, and playing a key part in delivering sales success.
You'll be working closely with trade customers across a defined region, supporting quote processes, helping convert enquiries into orders, and collaborating with our external Regional Sales Managers. If you're organised, customer-focused, and enjoy a fast-paced environment, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.
In this role, you will:
* Deliver sales and frame targets within your assigned region
* Provide clear communication on quote turnaround times
* Proactively follow up on quotes to drive conversion into orders
* Work closely with the External Sales team to achieve shared targets
* Log and monitor all orders and quote enquiries to identify customer trends
* Support your own development by seeking training and building product knowledge
* Attend customer visits, exhibitions, and events as required
* Carry out any other tasks as directed by your line manager
Essential Skills & Experience
* Minimum of 1-3 years' experience in sales support
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
* High attention to detail and accurate data entry
* Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
* Customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills
Highly Desirable
* Experience in construction, glazing, manufacturing and CRM systems (e.g. Salestracker, Business Micros)
* Ability to interpret technical drawings, quotations, or product specs
Nice to Have
* Knowledge of sash window components or joinery terminology
* Understanding of building regulations, heritage requirements, or regulated environments (ISO, CE marking, etc.
