Remuneration: Level B from $127,947; Level C from $155,403 plus 17% super

Why Your Role Matters
These are key positions at Canberra School of Professional Studies. The successful candidates will contribute to the school’s teaching, research and administration through course development and delivery, research outputs and higher degree supervision, quality assurance, industry engagement, student support, and other administrative duties aligned with school and faculty objectives. We welcome applicants with strong technical expertise in cyber security and computer science in areas such as cryptography, secure systems, cloud computing, threat detection, digital forensics, ethical hacking, and data science. We seek passionate academics who are eager to contribute through innovative teaching practices, cutting‑edge research, and professional engagements.
Who You Are (skills and experience)
Lecturer (Level B)
* A PhD in a related discipline, plus relevant work experience.
* Strong research publication track record and/or competitive research income.
* Demonstrated expertise and currency in cybersecurity technical areas.
* Evidence of teaching and learning design, development, delivery and pastoral care at undergraduate and postgraduate levels with positive evaluation.
* Experience with educational technologies and flexible delivery platforms.
* Excellent interpersonal and organisational communication skills.
* Ability to work with students and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
* Experience collaborating with industry/professional bodies and applying work‑integrated learning.
Senior Lecturer (Level C)
* In addition to Level B skills and experience: course and program development.
* Research output through publications in high‑impact journals relative to opportunity; research grant successes.
* Postgraduate supervision and academic administration.
* Staff mentoring and community/industry engagement.
