Vehicle Package Engineer - 37092676 - £33.99/hr umbrella rate

What You Will Do:
- Develop and refine vehicle concept proposals, creating detailed architecture package layouts.
- Design and propose outline components and systems to enhance vehicle package development.
- Define and evolve detailed vehicle packages, focusing on either the whole vehicle or specific package zones.
- Monitor and resolve geometric issues within assigned package zones, ensuring alignment with technical requirements.
- Act as a mediator between different teams to negotiate and implement solutions for technical conflicts.
- Utilise benchmarking tools to generate innovative ideas and support project goals.
What You Will Bring:
- Experience in product development, particularly within vehicle integration or packaging roles.
- Proficiency in CATIA V5 or V6 for design and geometric integration (experience with other 3D CAD tools will be considered).
- Strong understanding of chassis and propulsion systems, as well as their subsystems.
-Proven ability to negotiate solutions in areas of technical conflict, with excellent communication skills.
