Guildhall Feoffment Community Primary School is looking for a Teaching Assistant Upper Key Stage 2. Main duties and responsibilities: Supporting the pupil: Duties to include: aiding the children to learn as effectively as possible both in group situations and individually clarifying and explaining instructions ensuring children are able to use equipment and materials provided motivating and encouraging children as required. Supporting the Teacher: Duties to include: assisting the class teacher in providing a stimulating and organised learning environment for the children assisting the class teacher by supporting groups and individuals preparing classroom materials, including photocopying, laminating, classroom displays etc providing regular feedback about the children to the teacher. Supporting the School: Duties to include : assisting in the supervision of children at playtime as appropriate, to apply first aid, look after sick children and attend to physical needs assisting in the day-to-day organisation of the school.
