A secondary school in Bedford is seeking to appoint a skilled and enthusiastic Computer Science / ICT Teacher for a long-term cover role, starting immediately and continuing through to the end of July.
The school has a supportive and approachable Senior Leadership Team, along with a collaborative staff culture where teachers are valued and supported both professionally and personally.
Responsibilities
* Delivering Computer Science and/or ICT across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons that combine practical and theoretical learning
* Supporting students of varying abilities to reach their full potential
* Marking, assessing, and tracking progress in line with departmental expectations
* Maintaining high standards of behaviour and effective classroom management
We Are Looking For
* A qualified teacher with QTS or an equivalent recognised qualification
* Recent UK secondary teaching experience
* Experience teaching Computer Science and/or ICT at KS3 and KS4
* Strong subject knowledge and confidence with the current curriculum
* A proactive, adaptable, and professional approach
Essential Criteria
* Right to Work in the UK
* UK teaching experience
