We’re looking for skilled Missile Test Architects to join an exceptional team and take ownership of the test and testability aspects of missile systems. This role is at the heart of ensuring designs are fully testable, optimising test coverage, and supporting manufacturing and design teams to deliver high-quality products.
You’ll work closely with design and manufacturing teams, generate and manage test requirements, analyse systems for coverage and diagnostics, and make cost vs test coverage trade-offs in collaboration with senior engineering leadership. This is an opportunity to influence technically sophisticated projects and develop expertise across missile test engineering.
Key Skills & Expertise:
* Substantial experience in test, electrical, or electronic engineering.
* Proficiency in at least one area: digital electronics, microprocessor systems, analogue electronics, electronics testing, or test equipment design.
* Experience gathering requirements, planning projects, and managing relationships with key stakeholders.
* Ability to define and manage missile-level test requirements, BIT routines, and factory/in-service testing.
* Analytical skills to model systems, determine test coverage, and generate diagnostic instructions.
* Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimise testability and coverage.
You’ll enjoy:
* Up to £2,500 annual bonus based on company performance.
* Generous pension contributions up to 14%.
* Paid overtime opportunities.
* Flexi leave up to 15 additional days.
* Enhanced parental leave, including maternity, adoption, shared parental, paternity, neonatal leave, and fertility support.
* Excellent onsite facilities, including subsidised meals and free parking.
