Document Controller
Clarke are a growing specialist construction business based in Ballymena with a portfolio of work that reaches all over the UK and Ireland.

Due to an increase in projects secured, we are recruiting for a Trainee Document Controller. Assisting the wider Document Control Team, this role supports our quality programme throughout our business and will be crucial to providing Document Control for all live schemes to ensure all project information is regulated and controlled accordingly.
About The Role
Role Summary
* Follow processes and procedures for secure and safe document management
* Assist on maintenance of the EDMS. (Electronic Drawing Management System)
* Assist on maintenance and actively participation on all workflows.
* Assist on maintenance of accurate document record logs on all drawings and documents issued by all parties at each stage of a project.
* Responding to requests and queries regarding our EDMS.
* Assist on processing documents daily, to both our EDMS and clients external Document Portals.
* Assist on control and coordination of projects documentation and data.
* Ensure all drawings/documentation are correctly identified in accordance with naming protocols (both internal and external), distributed to the client once approved.
* Ensure all comments are distributed correctly and filed/stored.
* Assistance in the preparation, collation and issue of reports and registers as required.
* Build, manage and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, other construction professionals, suppliers, and staff.
