NHS Tayside is seeking an experienced and values‑driven Organisational Development (OD) Lead to join the Learning and Organisational Development team. As part of the People & Culture Directorate, you will play a central role in delivering a progressive OD service that supports our transformation agenda and drives quality improvement across the organisation.
Working in partnership with senior leaders, clinicians and multi‑disciplinary teams, you will design and deliver high‑impact OD interventions aligned with our strategic priorities, including the NHS Tayside Wellbeing Framework, Anchor Strategy and Delivering Together for Tayside.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Leading and delivering a portfolio of OD workstreams focused on culture, leadership, staff wellbeing and engagement
* Providing expert consultancy to support organisational and behavioural change
* Designing and facilitating group interventions, workshops and learning events
* Influencing system‑wide improvement through evidence‑based tools and collaborative relationships
* Coaching individuals and teams to embed values‑based behaviours and inclusive leadership
* Measuring and evaluating the impact of OD activity to inform continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
* Experience of leading OD interventions and facilitating change in complex systems
* Proven ability to work with senior leaders and clinical teams to deliver results
* Strong interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills
* A degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience); postgraduate study is desirable
* Knowledge of organisational development theory and practice, including behavioural science, coaching and quality improvement
