Senior DevOps Engineer – AI Start‑Up – Azure, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Python
Oliver Bernard is partnering with an AI start‑up looking to hire its first dedicated DevOps engineer. The role will lead the implementation of best practices around cloud, infrastructure‑as‑code (IaC) and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), scaling and maturing DevOps processes across a growing team of developers.
Responsibilities
* Lead the design and implementation of cloud and IaC solutions using Azure and Terraform.
* Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions.
* Implement system monitoring, alerting and observability practices.
* Write and maintain Python scripts for automation and tooling.
* Act as a single‑point decision maker driving DevOps excellence across the business.
Qualifications
* Senior‑level experience in DevOps or a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud services.
* Hands‑on IaC with Terraform.
* Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
* Solid background in system monitoring & observability.
* Proficiency in Python coding.
Compensation & Work‑Style
£80 000–95 000 per year plus benefits. Hybrid working model in London (1–2 office days per week).
