A progressive Good primary in Wandsworth is seeking a dynamic and reflective KS1 Teacher to join a supportive KS1 phase on a Full-Time basis from January 2026. The successful KS1 Teacher will be encouraged to plan collaboratively before the January 2026 start, attend a bespoke induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026 as an integral Full-Time member of the team. This KS1 Teacher post offers access to experienced teaching assistants, a well-sequenced curriculum and a leadership team committed to evidence-based practice from January 2026 onwards.

The KS1 Teacher role

As the KS1 Teacher you will design engaging sequences that secure early reading, fluent number sense and confident writers. The KS1 Teacher will lead daily phonics, guided reading and practical maths, using formative assessment to target support and run small-group interventions. The KS1 Teacher will also coordinate transition from Reception and support parental engagement activities planned around January 2026 and after the January 2026 start. The Full-Time KS1 Teacher will have protected planning and PPA time as part of the contractual offer for this January 2026 appointment.
