Join our London-based Further Education team as a Curriculum Manager for English. Lead the development and delivery of outstanding, industry-relevant programmes that shape your students’ futures. This is a full-time, permanent role.
Responsibilities
* Lead on the development and delivery of outstanding educational provision.
* Collaborate with staff across departments to implement innovative and inclusive practices that support learners and colleagues to thrive.
* Line manage teaching and support staff, driving performance and accountability.
* Design, plan, and deliver high-quality, learner-focused curriculum programmes.
* Ensure compliance with funding regulations and quality assurance processes.
* Use data effectively to improve learner attendance, retention, and progression.
* Manage budgets and resources to ensure cost-effective and high-impact delivery.
* Prepare for and contribute to internal and external audits, inspections (e.g., Ofsted), and quality reviews.
Qualifications and Skills
* Relevant teaching qualification and leadership training (or willingness to obtain) with experience in English.
* Strong track record in leading teams or departments within an educational or comparable setting.
* Deep understanding of curriculum design, quality assurance, and student achievement.
* Strategic thinking, excellent communication, and people-management skills.
* Collaborative mindset with the ability to build effective internal and external partnerships.
