An exciting new job opportunity for a dedicated Consultant Psychiatrist to work in a brand-new mental health hospital in Clacton-On-Sea, Essex area. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers.
This mental health hospital provides an acute inpatient service for men and women aged 18+ specialising in the assessment and treatment of individuals in crisis or suffering from a significant mental health illness.
Qualifications
* MRCPsychiatry or equivalent with full GMC registration
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure that people admitted are assessed, treated, and discharged safely.
* Medication management.
* Quality assurance, complaints and co‑production.
* Delivery of NICE guidance.
* Lead and manage the CPA and ICR process to ensure full compliance with quality standards.
Preferred Skills & Experience
* Innovative and imaginative with the ability to initiate corporate decisions.
* Strong understanding of current developments in psychiatry and other aspects of mental health.
* Substantial knowledge of change management, relevant legislation, contemporary issues in mental health, and purchaser/provider contractual issues.
* Previous Consultant experience.
