The Role
As a Senior Risk & Compliance Analyst/Specialist, you’ll play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance and risk management across the business. Working closely with the Risk & Compliance Manager, you’ll engage in high-impact projects, liaise with regulators and clients, and drive compliance initiatives. This small team structure offers hands-on experience across the business, with excellent training and career development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Champion a culture of risk and compliance awareness.
* Develop and execute the Compliance Monitoring Plan, ensuring accurate reporting and record-keeping.
* Maintain and enhance compliance policies, frameworks, and procedures.
* Conduct regulatory horizon scanning and implement relevant legislation.
* Draft policies, impact assessments, and reports.
* Deliver regulatory training and manage compliance attestations.
* Prepare FCA regulatory reports and provide regulatory advice.
* Conduct due diligence on suppliers, clients, and customers.
* Support financial crime monitoring, AML activities, and risk event handling.
* Assist with complaints, governance meetings, and data protection compliance.
What you'll ideally bring
* Financial services risk & compliance experience (preferably FCA-regulated).
* Knowledge of operational resilience, cyber security, AML, and data protection.
* Strong analytical skills with a hands-on, pragmatic approach.
* Experience working with senior stakeholders and interpreting regulations.
* Project management and change initiative experience.
* Background in asset servicing or client-facing roles is a plus.
