Position: Senior / Supervising Social Worker
Salary: Up to £36,323.65 per annum (dependent on experience)

Your Role
As a Senior / Supervising Social Worker, you will play a vital role in:
* Empowering foster parents to achieve outstanding outcomes for children and young people in care.
* Monitoring and supporting the suitability and competence of foster families, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
* Providing clear guidance on fostering tasks, competencies, and FCA policies.
* Conducting regular supervision sessions with allocated foster parents.
* Collaborating with teams to identify and address the needs of foster families.
* Ensuring compliance with all necessary documentation for children and foster parents.
* Attending meetings and providing reports for commissioning teams.
* Encouraging participation of children and young people in agency development.
* Participating in an out-of-hours support service and day duty system on a rota basis.
* Conducting initial home visits and Form F assessments as needed.
What You Bring
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* A Social Work qualification.
* Professional registration with Social Work England or equivalent.
* Proven ability to produce high-quality reports.
* A solid understanding of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures.
* The willingness and ability to travel extensively, including occasional overnight stays.
* Confidence in transporting children and young people in challenging situations.
* A full UK driving licence.
