Position: Ocean Import Account Manager
Location: Lichfield, UK (1 day working from home)
Salary: Up to £35,000 per year
Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 - 17:30pm (flexible)

What you'll be doing:
* Manage ocean import shipments from origin to final delivery, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
* Provide exceptional customer service, handling queries and resolving issues promptly.
* Invoice and cost files accurately and on time.
* Select and negotiate with carriers/service providers to maximise profitability.
* Maintain and develop strong relationships with key clients and suppliers.
* Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and contribute to business development.
* Ensure all operational procedures and company standards are followed.
What we're looking for:
* Proven experience in ocean import freight forwarding or a similar logistics role.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Positive, proactive, and solutions-focused mindset.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Commercial awareness and confidence managing profit margins.
* Ability to work effectively within a team and build trusted internal relationships.
