About the Opportunity
Are you passionate about crafting impactful marketing strategies and leading teams to success? We’re looking for Deputy Head of Marketing volunteers who will shape our brand, guide our outreach efforts, and ensure that SkilledUp Life’s message reaches the right audience. This role offers a chance to build and execute innovative campaigns while collaborating with a dynamic, international team.

Duration
* 3 hrs per day – 3 months (60 Volunteer Days)
* At least two hours per day
* Part-time

Activities
* Develop and refine our overall marketing plan, ensuring alignment with SkilledUp Life’s mission and goals.
* Supervise and mentor the marketing team, setting targets, providing feedback, and offering guidance on best practices.
* Ensure consistent messaging and visual identity across social media, email campaigns, website content, and other platforms.
* Work with content creators to produce engaging materials, from blog posts and newsletters to social media updates and case studies.
* Track and analyze marketing metrics to measure impact, identify trends, and optimize campaign effectiveness.
* Partner with other departments (e.g., HR, Product) to coordinate campaigns and share insights that can help overall growth.
Requirements
* Background in marketing, communications, or a related field.
* Prior leadership experience.
* Ability to see the bigger picture, set objectives, and design campaigns that align with organizational goals.
* Strong written and verbal skills to guide teams, negotiate with stakeholders, and maintain brand consistency.
* Familiarity with marketing analytics tools, comfortable interpreting data to drive decisions.
* Experience managing or mentoring a marketing team; capable of motivating volunteers toward shared objectives.
* Openness to changing priorities and willingness to learn about new digital platforms and marketing strategies.
* Genuine interest in contributing to SkilledUp Life’s mission and helping our community thrive.

* Gain hands‑on experience in managing and mentoring a marketing team, strengthening your leadership and communication abilities.
* Hone your skills in defining and maintaining a consistent brand voice, messaging, and visual identity.
* Explore analytics tools to measure campaign performance, interpret data, and optimize marketing strategies.
* Work closely with other departments (HR, Product, etc.) to coordinate efforts and share insights, enhancing overall teamwork.

* Develop agility in responding to new trends, technologies, and opportunities that arise in a fast‑paced environment.
