Working Hours 37 hours - Monday to Friday.

Salary £24,300, OTE £30,300
About the Role
We are working on behalf of Power NI, part of Energia Group, Northern Ireland’s most trusted energy supplier, and have exciting opportunities for skilled specialists to join their award-winning teams. We are looking for motivated and results-driven sales professionals to join our Customer Retention team. Reporting to the Sales and Retention Team Leader, you will play a key role in building strong customer relationships, improving retention, and driving revenue growth.
This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and are passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences. You will work in a hybrid team environment, combining collaboration with the flexibility of working from home.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Retention
* Engage with customers through both inbound and outbound channels to build loyalty and maintain long-term relationships.
* Understand customer needs and provide solutions that encourage them to remain with the company.
Sales & Revenue Growth
* Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our range of innovative energy products and services.
* Support our Energy Transition initiatives by promoting sustainable and forward-thinking energy solutions.
Collaboration
* Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners to deliver the best outcomes for customers.
Compliance & Best Practice
* Carry out all duties in line with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
* Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and safety.
Operational Support
* Complete sales administration accurately and efficiently to support smooth day-to-day operations.
About You
Essential Skills & Experience
* Minimum 6 months’ experience in sales or negotiation, with a proven ability to engage customers and close opportunities.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
* Strong IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office and other digital tools.
* A suitable home workspace with reliable high-speed broadband to support hybrid working.
Desirable Skills
* Experience engaging directly with customers to promote company products or services.
* Previous experience handling inbound calls in a customer service or sales environment.
* GCSEs (Grade A–C) including Maths and English, or equivalent qualifications.
