Our client based in Basildon, Essex are looking for an Asbestos Surveyor to join their fast growing team on a permanent basis. You will be providing UKAS accredited Asbestos Surveys for all types of properties across the UK. This role is Monday to Friday, 8 hour shifts, shifts starting from 6AM. Please note the right candidate would need to be flexible due to needs of the business. Duties for this role will include: Driving to various sites across UK carrying out domestic and industrial surveys Adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures Inspecting buildings for potential asbestos Collecting samples of materials for laboratory analysis using appropriate PPE Assessing the condition and location of potential asbestos to determine the potential risk of exposure. Preparing comprehensive reports detailing the location, type, and condition of ACMs, and recommending appropriate management strategies.
