Step into the role of Workday Reporting Lead and become a driving force behind the data that powers Smart Audit’s industry-leading analytics and AI capabilities. In this position, youwon’tjust manage data—you’llshape the future of how global organizations gain insight and control through Workday. You’llcollaborate with talented colleagues across product, engineering, and data science, transforming complex reporting needs into innovative, scalable solutions that make a real impact for our customers. Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, configure, and optimise Workday reports using Report Writer, Calculated Fields, Dashboards, and Discovery Boards.
2. Gather reporting requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications.
3. Develop advanced, composite, and matrix reports for HR, Payroll, and Finance modules.
4. Maintain reporting standards and ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
5. Provide troubleshooting and performance optimisation for existing reports.
6. Buildrelationships withkeycustomerstounderstandtheirrequirements,collaborate onreporttesting and coordinatePoCs.
7. Support team memberswith Workday reporting queries and deliver internaltrainingas needed on Workday reporting functionality tofoster team literacy in the Workday reporting area.
8. Partner withDataScienceteams tohelp fetch the correct Workday datarequiredto build AI featuresin the most performant andscalablemanner.
9. TroubleshootWorkday reportingissues and ensure data consistency across systems.
10. Document technical specifications andmaintainintegration architecture standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
11. Strong experience with Workday Report Writer,Calculated Fields& RaaS.
12. Knowledge of Workday HCM, Payroll, and Financials modules.
13. Understanding of all types ofcalculated fields and experience increating andmaintainingcomplexcalculated fields.
14. Up to date with Workday's regular updates and perform analysis on the same asrequired.
15. Experienceand understanding ofreportingsecurity.
16. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Scienceor related field.
17. Excellent communication, analyticaland problem-solving skills.
Desirable:
18. Knowledge forWorkday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, WQL andAPIs.
19. Workday Integrationor Workday Reporting certification.
20. Familiarity with Prism Analytics and dashboardcreation.
21. Understandingof XML/XSLT, SOAP, REST, and data transformationwould be beneficial.
22. Any experience with Building AI agents and queriesand working withdata science teams
